The Legends and Lore of Allegany State Park by Paul T. Lewis and Bob Schmid
After reading, “The Legends and Lore of Allegany State Park” I have a greater view of Allegany State Park. This book discusses sectors of the park`s history that would otherwise be unbeknownst to many. Personally, at first sight I would not have purchased this book. Instead, I was gifted the book by one of the co-authors, Bob Schmid while camping in Allegany State Park. I thought that I would have to push through the book but instead it was an easy read filled with bundles of information. The pictures throughout make it less complicated when trying to understand the information. From group camps to crime this book is a very informational read on Allegany State Park.
