Rash
Rash is a story that takes place in the year 2014. It is an exciting story about an ordinary boy who happens to have a criminal background. It is a tale of friendship, trust and survival.
Rash is about a 16-year-old boy named Bo Marsten. Bo's brother and dad are both at different work camps because of crimes they've committed. But now Bo has gone too far. He has done too many bad things. He too has to go to a work camp—in the tundra. Bo has to make pizza all day for about three years. He meets some boys, and they all develop a strong bond. The only thing they have to worry about is the polar bears. Will Bo be able to put up with everything?
I liked this book because it was interesting and suspenseful. It also had some humor. I would recommend it to teens that don't mind curse words. This book won a Truman award for this year, 2008. If you're not sure about reading it, you definitely should!!
