The book Swimming to Antarctica is thrilling, adventurous and exciting. It is one of the best books I've read. It's the kind of adventure story you don't want to put down.

It's about Lynne Cox, a young girl that is in love with swimming. She started of in just a swimming pool then moved to the open water. Risking her life swimming in the brown smelly waters in Egypt. She almost caught hypothermia while swimming in Alaskan waters, and a mile in the Antarctic waters. Those are just some of the very few places she has swum. She spent years of her life getting permission from the soviets and sponsors from different corporations to swim the Bering Strait. Many people believed Lynne couldn't do the swim. It was always her dream to make the swim, and to be the only person to make the swim. To find out if she succeeds, or fails, you'll have to read the book.

I recommend this book to all swimmers and anybody that loves a true inspiring non-fiction story.
