Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
The three words you must know about reading Gone Girl: tense, twisting, and page-turner. The plot line is unique to almost everything that has come out in the past ten years. In addition, the writing is superb. Gillian Flynn’s intriguing lines and noticeable choice of words make you completely invested in the story. Certain lines will even leave you with your mouth open and re-reading the line to absorb its intensity and brilliance. It is a book that will not be put down once picked up.
I recommend this book to everyone. It is the mind-boggling thriller we have all been missing. Prepare to question the sanity of people around you, for it is clear through this book that people are not always how they seem; sometimes they are better, sometimes they are worse.
