I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
After reading I Hunt Killers it left me wanting to read more from Barry Lyga and the rest of his books. I thought that the book was magnificent, the way every page you read encouraged you to read more. From the description of the murders to the killer's point of view the reader is never bored. There might have been some slow parts, like with Jazz caring for grandma, but they are not boring because grandma is a funny character.
The book I Hunt Killers is about a 17 year old boy named Jasper Dent, also known as Jazz, from a small town of Lobo Nod. His father is one of the most disreputable serial killers. He murdered about 182 victims, he was caught and put in jail 4 years before the book begins. But one beautiful morning, a body was found in a field and bodies just kept coming from there. Throughout the book Jazz is trying to solve the case and find the killer, by thinking like his dad, and the killer.
I recommend I Hunt Killers to all readers that like action and semi graphic novels. It was an intriguing book that as you continue to read it gets better and better. I Hunt Killers is about family and protecting the people you love, and that's what Jazz did. It was a thoughtful, great, exciting book that I think all readers will love.
