The House On Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
I just finished reading The House On Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and I'm very satisfied. I recommend everyone to read this book not only because it's entertaining but it teaches young kids important life lessons.
This book is simply about a young girl named Esperanza who lives in a bad neighborhood on Mango Street. This young girl is trying to balance between adolescence and womanhood. She meets some characters along the way who may bring problems for her. What I love about this book is that it brings up real life problems that happen
out in the world that some girls endure.
I would go out and buy this book and recommend it to a friend or two. I'm in awe with how well written and thought out the book was and I think you will be too!
