Midnight City by J.Barton Mitchell
Midnight City features action, romance, and suspense on each page. On the first page of the book, the reader is immediately submerged in Holt’s post-apocalyptic world. Eight years later after a horrific alien invasion, Holt, a bounty hunter, struggles to survive with his only companion, Max the dog. On his journey, he meets Mira, the wanted criminal; Zoey, a mysterious eight year old girl; and has countless deadly encounters with the Assembly, the alien race that has conquered Earth. This book deserves 4 out of 5 stars for its suspenseful story line and is recommended to science fiction and adventure loving readers.
