Port of Morrow by The Shins
The Shins were one of the best indie rockers of the AUGHTS. There work is up there with The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Coldplay etc. This album is their first in 5 years. And there best since their debut,"Oh, Inverted World." It starts out with The Rifle's Spiral. Which is a space, electronic fest.It sounds okay. A bit loud. The next 5 songs all have a similar atmosphere. For a Fool sounds excellent, as do the remaining 3 songs. All in all, a great album. 4.5 out of 5 Stars
