When you think Queensryche, you normally think of Geoff Tate, Empire or this album. Mindcrime(that's what I'll call it for now) is essentially a story about a man who walls into the wrong business and finds himself selling drugs and killing his sister Mary I believe.
Much like Empire, you can expect the nice operatic vocals that Sir Tate can use. While this isn't Iron Maiden, the vocals do work in more of a hard rock sound of progressive metal. Many tracks, including transitions, are present here. You may know Eyes of a Stranger, I Don't Believe In Love and the title track of the album but that's just the tip of the iceberg from there. There are many other tracks that sound fairly decent at best I know. There's only one problem, it can be very hard to follow if you're not listening. You see, Dream Theater did this alot better with Metropolis Part 2 in my opinion. So what can I give this?
