God of War Ragnarok, the sequel God of war game in the modern series, was announced in December of 2022 and was finally released in February of 2023. This game was greatly hyped up by its game developers  for its crystalline quality graphics, and extended game content with an instant new “game+” if a user logged their  full completion of the first God of War with an ubisoft account. 

The old God of War series was set in ancient Greece of a Greek mythological story of Kratos, killer of the gods. In the early days of Kratos's story he was born in a small village near Sparta as a demigod son of Zeus. He was born to a poor family in a set of twins almost identical except his brother had a red birthmark that wrapped around his head a torso. Seeing all the corruption of war he and his brother began a god hunt for the god of war Aries with the help of Helena goddess of beauty. Helena granted Kratos the blades of chaos under a term that he would serve the gods for eternity and kill aries becoming the new god of war. His brother Deimos who had less noble god blood in him was granted a large array of bronze weapons that he later was able to wield one handed with a large bronze shield in the other. After a long battle they had failed. Aries recognized the blades of chaos and called upon Helena to retrieve them and as she left she told Aries that the twins had been reborn in the city of war. Kratos and Deimos were reborn this time in Sparta, Kratos remembered everything Deimos however did not. Once again one was born with a red birthmark wrapping around their body but this time it was Deimos. Early in their childhood Aries, not fully knowing he was taking Deimos, took what he thought was Kratos back to his home and tortured him. Kratos, knowing of this, begins to train in many arts of war but instead of killing Aries he decides to train under him under his brothers name. After Aries decided Kratos was ready to destroy a group of mercenaries who were trying to kill aries. When Kratos arrived it looked as if the job was already done except that there was one large house on fire that many people were running out of inside he killed the only people he could find. After Kratos soon realized he had killed his wife and only son, Aries appeared laughing in a crude fashion revealing he knew all along he was Kratos as the ashes of his family changed his skin to ghost white. Soon after Aries brought Deimos to fight kratos as Deimos had been training as well under Aries. Kratos had won the battle due to his inhuman strength from the gods. Then reclaimed his red birthmark as a return to glory and to commemorate his brother
