More Than Just A Trip
I always wanted to go on vacation with my friends Andrew, Alex, Alec, And Ryan. We boarded our plane to Japan and were ready to witness the country filled with countless adventures ahead. When we didn't know the flight was going to be thirteen grueling hours, we made sure to pack as many snacks we could find to the plane. We decided to take a nap, so we had enough energy to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Alec's Nintendo Switch. Then the pilot said over the speaker, letting everyone know that we should be aware that there is a storm that is near the direction we are heading. Our pilot told us not to worry about being aware if we do get in the storm by some unfortunate cause of events. My friends and I did not bother because we had complete trust in our pilot.
We were two hours in during our flight. Alex and I could not bare how long it was going to take to arrive in Japan. Secretly, we took Alec's Nintendo Switch and got out the controls to set our gaming minds into autopilot. Until suddenly the plane shook and in my mind, I thought maybe it was just the turbulence. Then there was a second blow which sent my glasses flying two seats ahead of where I was sitting, and I was in a panic. Ryan, Alex, and Andrew have woken up in fright, not understanding what just happened. Then everyone in the plane realized we were in the storm. I saw smoke coming from the engine, and it blew up. I knew that if I didn't have my glasses, then I would not be prepared for what happened next. I slid to the two seats in front of me and asked if they had seen any glasses. I was handed my glasses back and struggled to get back to the seat.
Then another strike from the storm blew up our engine. The oxygen masks came down, and my friends reacted quickly. We packed up everything we had, and we tried to get our luggage. We managed to take our bags, but in the process, another passenger's luggage hit Alex's head. He became knocked out unconscious, and we held him to protect him. Then I saw an island, and we were about to crash. Everything was dark, and I struggled to get up. I heard my friends shouting for my name. I tried to get up, but my useless bulging body wouldn't move. Then I realized half of my body became stacked by luggage. I let out the final gasp of air I had in my lungs and said, "help." I tried to make room by moving the luggage to see if I would be able to nudge off the bags. I managed to get a layer off, which gave a bit more room for me to scream "heeeelp," and then Alec found me and assisted me. I got up, and I tried to coordinate myself, but I fell again. I was laying in a grass field, and then I saw a hill shaped like an ape-like figure. I knew that it was not Donkey Kong or King Kong because of how significant it looked. Then we all regrouped and grabbed the luggage my friends found while I was trapped.
We went through the white bird to see if there were any survivors. By the time we checked half of the plane, and we couldn't bare checking anymore. We were in despair and that we decided we had to go on our own. We had no idea what to do. Although we were scared, I knew that someone would find us eventually and we would have to live on this island we, unfortunately, crashed on. That's when we knew; this wasn’t jus. We went on and thought about how we were going to get our shelter. We tried to wake up Alex, and we didn't know how to do it. Then Ryan had a brilliant idea. "Guys lets do it the old fashion way. A good hard slap across the face. That for sure, will solve the problem. Hey, you know what, Andrew should do it." Andrew's hands are the size of Michael Jordan. We all snickered as Andrew was about to slap him. Andrew slapped him so hard, Alex woke up so fast that all of us fell. Then he acted as if he didn't get hit by the luggage and said, "Dude, let's finish our game before we decide what to do," Alex said. I was frightened and said, "Are you insane. All of us are stranded on an island with a hill sculptured with the face of an ape!" I said. The others were laughing. "Oh god, be quiet," I said. Alex froze in confusion. "Wait what happened to the plane? WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PLANE?!" I told him the whole story, and he was bewildered." Oh, whatever, let's continue the game, and we will talk about it afterward. I was furious because I kept losing every single time. Then I told my friends, "I can't deal with this anymore I going to open up my pack of Oreos in my backpack." I opened the new pack of black rings filled with heaven's creme. As I was about to take a bite of the cookie from heaven, instead of saying mmmm, I said: "AHHHH I think I bit my finger off!!!" My friends dashed over and wanted to see what happened. "What the heck is going on?" Alec said. I looked at my finger, but it wasn't bleeding. I thought to myself, I don't have the Oreo in my hand and I'm not chewing on anything. Suddenly my finger was back on me, and I saw a person in the trees. The man wore a cloak and looked like a sorcerer. Then he suddenly disappeared in a fog of smoke. "Come back," I said. He went faster than a comet.
"Owen, what are you talking about. Are you hallucinating?" We looked at each other and wondered what this island is. "This place must have some creatures. Wait Owen didn't you say there was a hill shaped like an Ape" Ryan said. "Yeah." "Hmmmm we might have something going." "Guys, it's getting dark. We should start finding a way to get some shelter. We don't need to worry about the food though," Alex said. We went to find some wood and a pile of stones to start a fire.
Once we got our supplies, we went to find the perfect spot for us to build our shelter. Then we stopped at the edge of a cliff. We were struck by what we saw. "Holy cow. I would build a house here if I could," Andrew said. We saw something no other place would have. It was a village, but the buildings were tall, and they looked modern, but they seemed transparent. The creatures flying in the air weren't like birds but crystal birds. There were people in the village who were wearing robes just like the man in the trees. They seemed like they were using telekinetic powers to build buildings in the town. My friends were all in awe until I thought they were. I tried to get their attention, but they didn't move. Then I looked back at the village, and all the people in the robes were looking at us. Then, I realized they were controlling my friends. I slapped Alex first, and he got out of the trance. I tried to hit the others, but instead of them getting out of the trance, they turned and looked at me. Alex and I knew we had to run. We ran so fast that we didn't know where we ended up. We eventually lost them. We looked behind us and ended up in a cave.
Then we were trapped by the rubble in the cave. Alex and I were panicking, and we had no idea what to do. We went deeper into the cave, and then we saw a figure. It was a man. The man looked very old and hungry. He glanced at us, and then he looked frightened. "It's ok," I said. "How did you young men end up on this hellish island?" the man said. "Excuse me, how did you end up on this 'hellish' island?" Alex said. "I was born on this island called Gargantua. Our savior Demetrie was an ape that destroyed anything that was in its path. Until these people called, the Mind Destroyers took over my people and somehow killed Demetrie. Then my family was murdered by these inferior beings. I ran away from the invaders into this cave where they never found me thanks to this invisible potion my father gave to me before his death. I put an abundance of supplies in this cave in case I was ever in a situation like this. Now look at me, I've trapped in this cave for over 30 years. Now I'm stuck with you little ." We tried to hold the man up, but he was too weak even to stand. Soon enough, we had to pick him up from head to toe. "How do we get off Gargantua?" Alex asked. "Well, I have this metal plate that can take you anywhere. I've never used this metal junk because I didn't know how to." I took the metal plate and tried to do several things to start it up. Then I pulled the side of the metal plate, and a button appeared. I pushed it, and a vast dark blue circle popped open. Alex, the old man, and I went into the portal. We got placed into a building. "What is this place?" I asked. "It's the Hall of Wizardry," the old man said. Then, a very tall man that was probably 6 foot and 8 inches tall walked up to us. "Ahhhh, it is you Tobias Thunder," the tall man said. "Ha Tobias, that was my grandfather's name," said Alex. Suddenly the tall man fell. "Yes, it is me Doofus, or should I say Uncle," said the old man. "Wait your Uncle's name, is Doofus. Alex and I laughed so hard over Doofus' name that it enraged Doofus. Doofus snapped his fingers, and Alex disappeared. "What did you do to him!" I said. "I sent him into space and should be dead. That is why you shouldn't be laughing over the terrible name the Wizards gave me. To balance those odds, they also gave me powers that no one can match.
Ever since your parents were killed from my minions, I shot all of the Wizards in the hall" Doofus explained. I was in terror. Then he used his telekinetic powers to strangle me in chains. Tobias and I became chained by Doofus. "What are you doing Uncle," said Tobias. "Be quiet, or I'll send you to space as well. From then on, we were slaves to Doofus, and if we stopped working for him, we would be dropped into a volcano that would burn us, but we wouldn't die. This punishment would never stop until Doofus died. Tobias couldn't handle it, and Doofus dropped him into the volcano. The only thing Tobias didn't know was that his Uncle was immortal. Therefore, I took the wise path and continued to work for him. I became insane, and after stealing books from the library filled with secrets on how to kill Wizards, I finally murdered him in his sleep with the dagger of Solomon. Now I take the mantle, and I destroyed all evil in the galaxy; including Ryan and Alec.
