Chase Me
He’s chasing me. Running faster, faster, I don’t think I can go on much longer. I can hear his footsteps, like a cheetah hunting for her prey. I can almost feel his breath on my neck, like a lion ready to pounce. Yet I keep running, I don’t know how, but I do. I look over my shoulder and see him, he’s gaining on me. I need to run faster, I need to get away from him, but how? I see a shed up the road, perfect! He’ll never find me in there. I start to run faster, I just have to reach the shed. As I go in the shed, I feel relief; he can’t get me in here. Just when I think I’m safe I feel someone grab my arm and say, “Tag, you’re it.”
