The legend of Headless Annie
There was a fifteen year old girl named Annie. She lived in Harlan county, Kentucky. Her father was a coal miner and he did not like the coal mining officials pay the miners.
So, he started to form a workers union against the mines. The officials found out about the union and they were not happy.
So they sent thugs to stop the union organizer and his family. They kidnap Annie and her family. They hanged her father on a meat hook and said," this is what happens when you start a union!"
Then they brutulized Annie and her mother. Thier heads we're cut off.
The father had to suffer the pain of losing his arms and legs. He was rehang to show the other minners what happens when they try to unionize.
