Broken Bodies
Today is the last day that we are following these three women around. It has been 5 years. We have seen their break ups, their jobs, their failures, their happy moments, their family, we have seen everything in their life for the past 5 years. This will be my last journal on all of them.
They have been broken by many men, women, family members, and friends. One of them described it as being cut up each time they were hurt. The first heart break of them all was the first one from Red, now Red is not her real name but that’s what everyone calls her because of how bright red her hair is. Her and her boyfriend were together for 4 years, 3 years before we started following them and 1 year that we were following them. She was working late one day and was exhausted walking in their apartment she couldn’t wait to go to bed. She slowly and tiredly walked to their bedroom and saw Robert laying in bed. She plopped down next to him but she wasn’t on the bed, she was on something kinda lumpy feeling. She moved the blanket and found her sister laying there with almost no clothes on. Her eyes looked glazed over, in that moment everything in the changed.
Now some of you haven’t been reading our journals for all 5 years so let me explain. We just follow them around during their day. While they’re getting ready, at work, on the phone, on their way home, and right before they go to bed.
The hurt shown in her was the worst any of us have ever seen. After that she didn’t go to bed and she didn’t wake either of them up. She simply packed all her things and left. She blocked his number, blocked her number, and went to hotel.
By saying that was the worst doesn’t mean Scarlet and Amber didn’t have a heart break or two in the past 5 years. Amber is the one that said it felt like a part of them was being cut up every time their heart got broken. Red said she 100% agreed with every bit of that statement and anything else it could mean. Scarlet kept giving the same guy chance after chance. She never gave up on him. Anything he did wrong there was always and excuse for it. She deserved so much better than what she had. After 2 years of that relationship she finally decided she had enough of his crap. We here were so happy for her for learning how to stand up for herself.
Amber attracts bad guys. The ones that don’t know how to treat women or people in general, they couldn’t hold up a relationship for longer than 2 to 3 weeks. We all felt so bad for her, she deserved so much better than all of those guys. She was so beautiful and inspired.
Like I said earlier, this is our last day. Today is a different story for everything you just read. Today they are all in nice, loving relationships. It’s a beautiful thing really. Red is engaged to a man named Christopher. Scarlet is married to a women named Janet. And Amber well Amber is engaged to well, me. Red, Scarlet, and Amber all fit together with their new fiance or husband. We all go out together all the time. We usually go out dancing more than anything. Dancing is the most beautiful form of art. Dancing together like one piece, one movement.
