Once Upon a Throne
As she sat on her throne looking down upon her people, she shook her full glass of rum and sighed. The king was busy, very busy indeed working to keep the castle running properly.
The queen yet again just sat there gloomily complaining about the dutchesses, jokers, judges, princes, and princesses, who were her blood - her family.
She snicked at the sight of her assistants trying to plan things. She was not one for last minute arrangements. No ma'am, not at all.
The king came home everyday with a smile and money, to see the queen destesting over the towns newest gossip. The queen wasn't ever fully awake. She was always in a slumber. Though, in her eyes were, comebacks, remarks, and comments just waiting to be lashed out at her next prey.
Her maids.
