We have lost you...we lost our Golden One… 

Never have we seen such a sight. In the town hall, our Golden One, caused a scene. We hear that they have escaped.

"They dare disobey the council with their outrageous lies and escape into the forest." 

"A simple street cleaner dare do such a crime against our council."

We look to the sky at city hall and say to ourselves, "We lost our love."

No not we, singular only we not our siblings lost our Golden one. 

We alone feel cold and betrayed by the council. Why should we alone live a world that never cared for us? While attempting to sleep Justice-700 slammed on the door. 

"Wake up Liberty work is earlier today in case that traitor decides to return." 

As usual, we change into our peasant clothes and walked into the cafeteria of Labor Hall next to Picture-900 and Companionship-471. 

"We Picture-900 can not believe that a sweet sweeper could cause such a ruckus." "We hope that they find and kill them." 

"We disagree, there has to be a reason to why he ran off, they were just like us Picture-900." 

"Companionship-471 they should stay quiet or else the council will burn them alive just like International-48818". 

 Eternity-1000 silenced the room, "The World Council needs your attention." Eternity-001 shows on screen.

 "Ever since the events of yesterday, Equality-7-2521 has been on the run and a mini-rebellion has rose. We not as brothers and sisters must retaliate against those who have betrayed us.”

Eternity-001 signs off. 

 Eternity-1000 screams "NOW GET BACK TO WORK!"

Companionship-471 walks towards us, "We know you and Equality were close, we are sorry." 

"Our brothers and sisters would never allow me to live if they knew.”

We return to our gardening, we only wonder about life beyond the woods with Equality, we would be so happy.

We began to wonder if Equality was dead. No, we must not think unpleasant thoughts. 

After planting the seeds of the day. We look over to the house of the street sweeper and saw empty. Equality is still gone. 

Then we look towards the woods and we feel our eyes light up.

Our Golden One was within grasp. We must escape into the woods. Every hour we realized that the guards change shifts leaving us an opportunity.  

“Soon, it will not be us alone, it will be Equality and we together.”

"Tonight we alone follow the trail to find our Golden One."

Companionship-471 looks at Liberty and they knew what the other was thinking. Neither spoke, preferring one sister over another was forbidden.  

We open the doors to freedom and exit out of the only prison we have ever known.

“We alone are neither foe nor friend to our brothers and sisters, but such as each of them shall deserve of we. And to earn our love, our siblings must do more than to have been born. We no grant our love without reason, nor to any chance passer-by who may wish to claim it. We only honor with our love. But honor is a thing to be earned. Equality earned us only, we alone, we ourselves, only us-no only Liberty 5-3000 love.” 

As Eternity-1000 is sleeping lazily on her beat-up chair, suddenly Picture-900 wakes up Eternity. “ETERNITY AWAKE FOR OUR SISTER IS ESCAPING.” 

As if Eternity had been waiting for something to happen jolted out of her chair screaming “Take our sister Liberty 5-3000 to the Palace of Corrective Detention. Lash them until they tell). Liberty must know of Equality very well then, Eternity-001 will finally notice us as his sister that triumphs all other Equalities!”

We run down the stairs of the house we had lived so many years in running past many of our sisters. Once we had reached the bottom floor we noticed that more of the exits had been blocked off by our former sisters. 

As we walked out we see Companionship-471 standing at the door as if they expected us. “We think that in the wisdom of women the Golden One had understood more than we can understand.” Our only sisters' eyes stood to stare at us with tears as they took my hand and we bolted for the forest with our no longer sisters in the woods. 

“Liberty, we know that they planned to escape and our sister we must let you go free. Do not turn around as we love you. 

“We understand that centuries of chains and lashes will not kill the spirit of man nor the sense of truth within him. Liberty, we are no longer alone, you found love which no former sister of mine ever was granted. Run, we will save you.”

“We can not leave you sister, come with us and Equality and start a better life.” 

“No, not yet.”

Before we could reply Companionship-471 threw a grenade at Equality’s path causing destruction. 

“For the Revolution! RUN or we will be forced to kill they.”

We were in shock, Companionship-471 is in the resistance?”

Companionship-471 then screams “OUR SISTERS LIBERTY 5-3000 HAS A BOMB!” Then in a whisper, “The rebellion lives with you Liberty, run to freedom.”

We turned and ran. “We knew not where we were going. We knew only that we must run, run to the end of the world, to the end of our days.” 

We reached the end of the trail and the bad thoughts returned to us.

It felt as if many days passed before we could speak to the Golden One again. But then came the day when the sky turned white, as if the sun had burst and spread its flame in the air, and the fields lay still without breath, and the dust of the road was white in the glow. 

The Golden One was in front of us. “How come you to be here, Golden One?” with we saying, in only a whisper, “we have found you…..”
