I Am Zeus
I am Zeus the king of Greek Gods
I have many statues built of me
The Temple of Zeus in Olympia
Is the greatest sculpture.
My temple of marble and gold
I’m am one of the seven wonders of the world
People come from near and far
To worship me in the ancient world.
My statue imposing and awe-inspiring
I’m seated over 40 feet tall
Sitting on an impressive throne
Constructed of cedar, ivory, ebony and gold.
The Olympic Games held in my honor
Every four years games played
Until the games abolished
Then a fire ruined me.
