I walked into the clinic one more time. My cancer was worsening. I sit in the waiting room.
“Hey Amy.”
“Hey doc.”
“So I got your results. Stage four. Terminal. I’m sorry,” my doctor sighs. “You only have two months left.”
My heart flutters. “But my kids? My husband?”
“You’ll see them in two months.”
