Home Late
We walked home just as the sun was dying off into the horizon leaving a colorful display of reds, oranges, and pinks being consumed by purples and blacks. One of the few beautiful things about this place was the sunset. Even though I was still so tired it seemed to fit the scene. The scene of us walking home late. It was moments like this that really make me appreciate the smaller things. The grass suddenly seemed less boring and the trees more interesting. It made me think about how amazing it is that they can take the energy of the sun and live off of it. I wish humans could do that.
