Failure
Failure
I felt the pain within my soul. Watching my dad leave when I was 4, and watching my own mother’s passion towards me leave at the age 5. My childhood wasn’t great as I grew up in a poor city. I went to school wearing improperly sized shoes only to get home and see the scars left on my feet by them, just like the scars left in my heart. Life went on. By the age of 8 I had 4 brothers and 3 sisters all from multiple dads my mother had been with over the past years. I watched them do drugs, watched them do things kids at their age shouldn’t have done. As time progressed I got older. I went on to follow my dream. 8 years later I had succeeded, Dr. Gina was my new name. So I had 3 sisters, 4 brothers, a drug addict mother, and a dead beat father. It was simply my reality.
