She told him to pipe down, she didn’t want anyone to hear them. They were behind the stage of a school’s auditorium. They had created a quiet little nest for themselves, where they wouldn’t be found. They liked this place, no one had caught them yet, they’ve been coming here to get away from life for a month now. The last place she made for herself and him had been found. Eventually, they got tired and fell asleep in each others arms.
Two days later there was an article in the paper, “Mother and son living in local high school.”
