A Vegetable Split
Tommy and Timmy are identical twins and have been the exact same in every way since anyone can remember. When Timmy was hungry Tommy was as well. Not only were they both hungry but they also always wanted the exact same kind of food. Timmy wanted chinese and Tommy wanted fried rice. Tommy wanted Mexican and Timmy craved fajitas. They were always on the same page and they never had a disagreement.
The twins were relatively normal kids, hated school, lots of friends, loved to eat but HATED their vegetables. There was nothing they hated more actually. Because of this deep seeded hatred their mother devised a plan for them to eat their veggies. Mostly out of fear of lack of nutritious food, in an effort to get Tim and Tom to consume the vegetables the mother offered that they must eat one half a serving every day or the twins switch off. Tim and Tom (the new and improved high school version of their names, switched on othe same day) couldn't decide. However on the same minute of the same day they both decided to split their vegetables every day.
Thus the tragic days ensued and Tim and Tom were officially veggie eating boys. Obviously they both hated it, spending a combined 22 minutes a day arguing their moms "super stupid" rules. Cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes, green beans, broccoli, and peppers were beginning to distance the two brothers. They were unable to communicate and were now never on the same page. Tim was a fan of carrots and broccoli while Tom liked peppers and bite sized tomatoes.
After two weeks they finally got fed up with all this vegetable eating that they came up with a grand plan. On the third week they were going to rebel. Once the third week came around they were ready. At the dinner table there was the usual table side chats about schools and work and at the end their mother said the usual, "boys make sure your eat your veggies". At the exact same time they both took all of their vegetables on the plates and flung them at their mother. Safe to say they didn't see sunlight for six months, but they never saw vegetables again either. It was worth it.
