minerva writes poems
He’s a polite gentleman. Takes her to dinner, holds the doors, covers the costs, is the chauffer. He’s in love. He blushes, smiles, laughs. He takes the kids when she has to work. But she doesn’t know how much she means to him. When the sun rises he wants to go watch with her. When the sun sets at night he wants to go watch with her. Every night he prays that her love for him will come back. The clothes, jewelry, and shoes that he bought for her are going to waste. She breaks his heart every time she says no and ignores his phone calls. His heart is on fire every time he sees her face. There is nothing she can do.
