The Waltz

Those eyes, those dark eyes of his fill me with such a feeling of happiness that I cannot describe it. He smiles as I reach up and caress his caramel, smooth cheek. I can feel the pressure of him leaning into my hand. His callused, hardworking hand softly pries my hand from his beautiful face. He kisses my palm and brings me towards his chest. My breath leaves me as his lips meet my forehead. I close my eyes and the music begins to play. 1-2-3 1-2-3 the rhythm fills my soul. Dancing the waltz, we are one.
