Do what you like and like what you do.

She moves closer,
Inquiring

I sat across from my life
I watched it rot
Still, her eyes blazed with fear and hope

I could not respond
Not right now
But there’s really no need to procrastinate
This might be one of the few times
I will ever see her

An answer…

An answer…

She grows anxious now
Frightened by my soundlessness
My eyes flit, float to her feet
Her left shoe is untied, blue, and lonely
I carefully stand, aware of the lightning in the air
I kneel quietly and pick up her laces
Under, over, loop, loop, knot
I make sure it’s tight

Okay.

That's.... kind of deep.  It reminded me of something I though I forgot a long time ago.  Thank you. Keep writing.

This is an interesting piece, the more times I read over it the more I understand of it. Because you wonder what she's asking of him, but in the back of your mind you have your own idea about it. I like this, keep writing.
