"Computer, open memory files for me," Roy spoke to the massive screen before him.

"Opening memory files of . . . Roy," responded an automated man's voice.

The screen lit up, a wave of light quickly pouring outward from the center. An explosion of light engulfing the room. Rows of files appeared. Numbers starting at zero and ending at twenty-seven titled each file.

"Computer, open year fourteen," Roy choked out, a sudden outpouring of emotion clogging his throat. He prepared himself for viewing the memory.

"Year fourteen of Roy," the computer responded.

Another selection of files faced Roy, each one labeled a different number, one through twelve.

"Computer, open month seven," Roy spat out, on the verge of tears, despite his best efforts.

"Opening month seven of Roy."

Even more files, these labeled by major events. Roy's eyes immediately jumped to the one labeled "Obtaining Of".

"Computer," Roy gasped, tears rolling down his face, "Open 'Obtaining of Roy'".

As a video took up the screen before Roy's face, he collapsed to the groung sobbing, lightyears away from home and family.
