Happy Birthday Ekta
Monday July 24, 2016; 10:58 P.M.
It was a starry night. Not so much artificial light illuminating the sky to hide the stars over Davis Island. From a birds eye view cars were crossing streets, houses were lit up and the MacDill Air Force base was operating smoothly until…
“Open fire on that Globe Master!” A loud stern voice shouted on the eastern side of the Airport. A Boeing C-17 Globe Master III hit ten mph and was increasing speed slowly down the runway. Alarms were blaring and white lights illuminated the whole base. Sure enough shot were fired at the cargo plane without even scratching the exterior. Bullets were made of jacketed lead, but the cargo plane was covered with what looked like a glowing purple coating that covered the plane from nose to tail.
The cargo plane hit thirty mph. Troops pulled out RPGs and rocket launchers to destroy the plane. All of a sudden thick, glowing black zigzags appeared to be seen through the naked eyes of some persons at the end of the runway interfering with the planes takeoff. The zigzags joined together just hovering just five feet above the runway spinning slowly. The three zigzags started to spin at high speeds until it was just a solid black circle with a glowing white outline. Then, beams of dark magic light started escaping from the circle until a large flash of white light that blinded all with thunderous sound.
As everyone’s vision came back safely, a teenage woman was levitating where the dark magic was forming her from an Ultraviolet Dimension originating and overlaying in earth’s atmosphere. In the Ultraviolet Dimension, you can see ultraviolet waves that are never seen by others. By being able to see ultraviolet waves, you are unable to be seen through the naked eye by the people in the Visible Light Dimension. The dark magic that was just seen was the teenage girl breaking through and travelling back to the Visible Light Dimension.
The teenage girl’s name was Ekta, a slim bodied well-known vigilante who had abilities that were not from this earth as with her other four friends. She was five feet two inches, wearing black jeans with a black and white plaid jacket wrapped around her waist. The jeans were tucked into her black leather boots that were laced up all the way to the middle of her shin. She was wearing a sleeveless half shirt that was designed with one-inch thick black and white stripes with a white outline. Ekta has straight, black, shoulder length hair with purple highlights, her iris color purple. She was pale, but with miraculous beauty.
The Globe Master hit one hundred mph now at the middle of the runway. Up from above, one of her friends with a typical douche look was Fendo, hovering in the air. He electrocuted the plane with lightening hitting the nose of the plane disabling all network and communications on the aircraft. Some of the purple coating shattered off like glass. The plane looked dead now, slowly loosing speed but not enough to stop itself on the runway.
Now it was Ekta’s turn. Her eyes faded into a glowing white color. The hoodie on her waist started to flail like there was wind but there was none. Ekta threw her hands up above her head, forming a small glowing black dark magic sphere in between her two hands crackling in and out of appearance. As the sphere grew to touch the ends of Ekta’s fingertips, she then threw the sphere in front of her. The sphere turned into a solid continuous beam that hit the plane slowing it down dramatically.
When the plane hit zero mph, the beam disintegrated in thin air and Ekta’s hoodie stopped flailing. Ekta’s eyes turned to normal as she and Fendo floated down on the illuminated runway.
“Nice shot.” Ekta said in a non-exciting voice with a hint of a smile.
“Well you know I tried.” He said as he touched the ground. The general was running over towards them. As he got into talking range, he stopped his trot and handed lightly.
“Is that purple coating new technology?” Fendo started, “Whoever came up with that idea is dumb and smart at the same time.”
The General took a breath and then started. “That’s not ours, it appeared around the craft as soon as it came online.” Suspicion started up in Ekta’s mind, she had a really bad feeling. All of a sudden a flexible purple glowing sphere broke through the thick bulletproof cockpit windows and came for Ekta. She tried to block the sphere by crossing her arms in front of her chest, but it was too late. The sphere had already bounced off her chest and was opening up like a three-dimensional Packman mouth. In a fraction of a second, the small round transparent purple ball grew to the size of Ekta and swallowed her. Then, it zoomed down into a Nano and disappeared taking Ekta with it.
…
Ekta found herself in the Glagatory Dimension with no geographical landmarks. Absolutely nothing lived in Glagator. All you could see was purple with white hexagon reflections. Everything, even the floor she was standing on was designed exactly the same way.
Ekta turned around and saw a figure, it was human shaped and looked familiar. Then she gasped. Her heart pounding miraculously fast, hands shaking with fear. “No, you can’t be…”
“Oh but I am,” The human figure walked forward towards Ekta. He was wearing a black jumpsuit stitched with a bunch of pockets to store lethal equipment. Though as he came into focus, he had no equipment in the pockets. The man was a muscled blond with a clean cut beard. He was way taller than Ekta, about five feet eleven inches. “Hello Ekta, how’s my favorite niece?”
“Stop it Lux! You aren’t getting any thing from me!” Ekta replied short of breath.
“Oh, I don’t want anything from you, besides, tomorrow is your birthday. You didn’t forget did you?” Lux said creepily.
“I want to.” Ekta replied with a frown.
“Oh come on,” Lux exclaimed with a chuckle, “You know you could never. It’s your 18th birthday! You can never forget what is about to come. To make this a happier occasion, I have a birthday present for you tomorrow.”
“I’m not interested.” Ekta exclaimed backing up
“By the way I have to say, when your father told me to retrieve a teenage girl, I never though it would be this hard. But then he made it easier for me.” Lux raised his palms to show a symbol imbedded into his skin. “Here is a taste of your present.” He faded into a purple glowing human figure. His image blurred as he shot down into the purple floor and disappeared.
Ekta was scared out of her wits but kept her composure. Her hands were circled in dark glowing magic as she looked around in every direction for Lux. He reappeared how he disappeared, but right behind Ekta. She turned around and jumped in fright. Before she could strike, Lux latched onto Ekta’s biceps. Stinging pain was coming from Lux’s palms where the symbol was.
“Aarrggh!” Ekta exclaimed. Lux pushed her down onto the hard purple floor. She sat up and looked at her biceps and to see the symbol was burned into her skin.
“In due time!” Lux said as he left Glagator. Ekta just sat there in shock; large chunks of the purple dimension disappeared revealing parts of earth. Five seconds passed and the image took place. She was at the end of the runway sitting on the asphalt. It was still dark out; it appeared that ten second passed in the Visible Light dimension because Fendo and the General was still standing in front of her.
They both turned around, “Ekta!” Fendo shouted as he walked toward her. She quickly covered the symbols with her hands. “Are you okay?” Fendo saw the fear in her eyes.
“I’m…fine.” Ekta said, “I just want to get home before tomorrow comes.” She turned to a dark glowing Norrix- a raven like bird with outstretched black shiny wings, glowing white eyes, and a ghost tail. It hovered over the runway for a second and then flapped its wings once keeping them at its sides. A whole bunch of dust flew off the runway. Like a dart, the bird shot through the air upwards and a white flash shadowed the disappearance the dark magic projection.
