Just a Rumor
“Sorry what?”
I lift the paper in front of the principal again, “This. This is the proof I have.”
“That is more outlandish than what other students say, Mr. Thompson”.
I scratch my hand as I always do when speaking, “But this is TRUE!”
“Mr. Thompson, stop. This rumor isn’t going to get rid of the teacher.”
I decide to sit down in the chair across from his desk. “This is proof. Usually a rumor is started by words, while a secret is started by truth.”
“I’m sorry but this cannot suffice. Most students hate their teachers, but you can’t just accuse someone of something they didn’t do.”
I ball a fist. “Fine. I will be back with ACTUAL evidence.” Upon leaving the room, I shred the papers in my hand. “Back to the drawing board then.” I continue on with a grin on my face.

This piece was written by me while in class, the teacher had put up an image on the board for us to write to and it inspired me to write this story. I unfortunately don't remember the image.
