The celebration didn’t last as long as it could have. Abruptly, The Drawn went away. He was solemnly walking wherever else he could go. He couldn’t go home because he would be recognized and feared. He couldn’t go back and be happy, because he was overcome by the loss. So he just went away. The travelling gave him enough time to think about what he’d done to The Drawer and to himself. After enough, he came to a lake, which shone silver in the night. He looked down and expected to see a reflection of himself. Instead, there was nothing except the words which seemed to be inscribed in the water itself. The only thing that can change a scenario faster than hope, is revenge. Then, with a jerking snap, The Drawn was dragged down into the water.
