Overdose
The room is filled with smoke, I'm intoxicated. Alone in the darkness along with the emptiness of my mind.
I light a cigarette; feel warmth inside me.
I take a moment to reflect on the situation; "Why am I here" I say; "Who am I" I continue.
While I issue myself questions I do not receive answers.
I light a cigarette; feel fire inside me.
Suddenly a spark bursts within me, I'm filled with anger I am filled with hate. Thoughts that come from the darkest moments of my life posses me and drag me down into oblivion.
I'm no longer human nor man, I'm a slave; slave of my memories, memories that I vainly tried to forget.
I light a cigarette; fell dust inside me.
I need to escape.
I glimpse with my eye something that can help me, something that allows me to keep demons away for moments, it is all I seek.
The room is dark I can't read the label.
I take some, after a short time it effects me and pulls me out of my mind.
I take more. After a longer time it effects me and pulls me out of my body.
I take more. After eternity it pulls me out of my breath.
I can no longer think, move or breath. I have escaped.
