Dress Up
I wake up, way earlier than I’m supposed to. I put on my glasses and look in the mirror. I am disgusted, almost immediately I pull out my straightener and begin to flatten out my waves. Once my hair is perfectly flat, I check with my mirror. Now it’s my face, I replace my glasses with contact lenses that burn my eyes but nothing hurts as much as looking into the mirror once more to find out that my skin is not clear, I rub paint all over my face, and I fix every flaw. I pick out my outfit for the day, I am not comfortable in it, but it will get approval and that is all that matters. I place a smile on my face and my costume is finally complete. I am happy.
