When you bring me down...frankly it hurts.
When you wonder why I'm hurt...well its you.
When you get mad that I'm not what you want...I guess I never was.

When you say you do it so I notice...well I don't need your help, thank you.
When you pull out my insecurities ...well they've always been there.
When you ask why I doubt myself...well I have you to thank.
When you express my imperfections more than my perfections...well it takes a while for me to see them for myself.

Why you do what you do to hurt me...I may never know.
Whether you've been through it before...I'm sorry but don't take it out on other people.
Whatever it is doesn't really matter...just don't let it rule your life because I don't let you.
