Soul Stains MAG
The vibrant tint of red, purple, and pink
Run across the early evening sky.
Oh please come down and stain my soul
Give me peace within myself
Let your colors take control
My eyes remain hypnotized
By God’s masterpiece
And I begin to hope
I begin to think if
He has some master plan
Made for you
And me
Our eyes perceive beauty
in many different forms
But the way the colors
swarm
the lonely sky
It makes me feel
infinite
Beyond my mundane
life
My phone begins to
buzz
but I cannot move my eyes
The beauty
no matter how simple
has me mesmerized
The world around me
fades
Into an
unknown twisted blur
And for a split second
I swear
I swear
I saw
the secrets of the world
