Could it be possible to serve the students a healthy yet good tasting lunch that

would interest the students?

Students at Bremen Elementary/Middle School deserve to get a good lunch that is healthy yet tasty. Studies show that students perform better when they eat lunch rather than when they don’t eat anything at all. The cooks say it’s not their fault, but yet the students blame the cooks.

Mrs. Obama recently decided to take away most of the unhealthy food away from the cafeteria room and put a series of requirements the cooks have to complete to be able to serve the lunch to the students. That makes most of the food taste terrible,  every day. Mrs. Obama has been pushing for healthier lunches since 2009 when she became the First Lady. The result of taking away the junk foods in the cafeteria has been making students reject the school lunches. The students have only said no to the healthy lunches ,and 1,086,000 students around the country have stopped buying lunches since the changes.
The students have had most of their food taken away there are no more chips, drinks, or ala carte to choose from. The lunch staffs have had to make so many changes to be able to satisfy Mrs. Obama with the school lunches, and kids at the school may buy the lunch but that doesn’t mean they eat it. Many kids are going the whole day without eating because they don’t like the lunches that are being served. Kids need food they like and want to eat, not the foods that are being cooked to meet the standards but yet have no flavor and are half cooked. Kids deserve better food.
