Recently the issue of dogs getting hurt from dangerous items has sprawled up. Say your dog, “Fido”, gets a hold of something fatal or dangerous for dogs such as Chocolate. Fido could get very sick and have to go to the vet to get treated, or he could die if he eats enough. Is it really worth having that happen if the solutions are so simple? Let’s review the issue, and what some think we can do about it below.

Often times your dog will find items that can be very dangerous. This issue has become a very large issue with some humans being a bad addition to the planet and littering all over it. In this article we will discuss this issue and how to prevent it

First let us go through some things that are dangerous for dogs:

As said before, this has become a growing issue due to dogs sprawling up and owners that pay little attention to them adopting them and not watching them. Often times you will see dogs in vet clinics for eating something like rat poison or a fatal food from cabinet. This hints the question, though-What do others think?  Some people will say that they believe that it is a real issue, such as Scott saying “dogs finding dangerous items is an issue”, as well as Matthew saying “Yes, it is an issue”, both because of the issue itself being troublesome, but others will say that they believe this issue has stayed the same over the past years, such as  Matt saying “No” to the question of whether or not dogs finding dangerous items is an issue, because there are greater issues than just this and some need tending more than this first, although this is an easy fix of an issue. The contrast between these people is most likely to greater issues of dogs than finding dangerous items. It does not matter what other issues are when focusing here if they are unrelated, because we are hoping to fix this one issue at a time.

Often times people who are not fully aware of what their dog is doing will be affected by this situation where their dog has to go to the vet because they ate something dangerous such as something fatal and dangerous (Like Chocolate) or something just plain out dangerous like a battery pack’s acid or something smokey that could start a fire.

Some ideas that I’ve come up with to solve this issue are listed as follows: You can help your dog not find these things by staying home, loving your dog, getting cameras, having your dog be watched, and keeping these items out of your dog’s reach.

It is important to watch your dog when they are outside and to never let them reach any of these items or eat them. Doing this may just save your dog’s life.

Some other people believe these are more ways to help your pets stay safe, such as Matthew saying:
“Just watch them”, and “Be careful”.

Stick to these ideas and your dog will be much safer than they were around dangerous and fatal/dangerous items.

Try to think of some of your own ideas on how to keep your dog safe, and ponder upon this topic with some more of your own time. Try to find more about this topic by looking up websites with list of fatal items for dogs, and get involved trying to fix the issue like I am. Make a change and save lives, and keep your animals safe!!
