Intolerance 101 MAG
Shawn's essay about people's intolerance of his Sikhism is very true. People make comments about beliefs and ethnicity without any prior knowledge. Sometimes I feel the same way when someone calls me a terrorist because my family's background is Afghan. It drives me crazy. They know nothing about my people or religion, but make accusations anyway, just as Shawn is being singled out and made fun of because of his beliefs. People shouldn't jump to conclusions.
