Ditch your Gender MAG
“Ditch your Gender” by Emily Locke is an uplifting poem that points out the flaws about gender roles in today's society.
“She changes her own oil. He does his hair in tinfoil.” These lines made me think about how people in this world really feel. Not me, but many out there feel it is not okay for a boy to do girl things and vice versa.
Women and men should be equal and not judged on the activities that they chose to participate in. Emily does an outstanding job addressing this issue.
