When I began to read "Confidence by Keys," I was able to imagine myself in Kevin's position. You see, I had a similar experience. In my first concert, the moment I stepped in front of the piano, my hands trembled, yet my fingers ached for a touch of the keys. I, too was self-conscious and afraid of making mistakes. However, I was able to iberscome those butterflies within me because I just let myself fall into the music; I became more like myself with each bite that I played. Like Kevin, "[n]o matter what I become in the future, half of me will always be a pianist". I don't play the piano to entertain others, nor for a praise. I simply play for intrinsic reasons.
