Just Stop
I wake up every morning, wondering where have the good times gone
Down to the people, the earth, even songs
I look at the sky wondering why have these people been living all wrong
With all these intentions of just droppin bombs not wanting to talk
To see if we can save these people instead we just do it all wrong
Please, tell me that you care
That there is someone out there who wants to do this fair
and spread peace instead of knocking it dead out of the air
Children all over the world are dying and our biggest obsession is Britney and how she is crying
Maybe we need to stop and recognize
That all we look like as a human race, is evil in disguise
Don't sit here and tell me the war is for peace
When really all we care about is where we want to eat
All the love is fading away
It got replaced by all the hate and discriminating against your brothers race
You people really don't care anymore
About the young souls whose lives are at waste in a war
For a country who all they want to do is try and control
Instead of spreading love
What will it take
Maybe the fact the our children's futures are at stake?
and that they will eventually feel like mistakes
and the difference between us and them is that we could have prevented this.
I sit alone deep in thought wondering why I can't seem to accept the world
Maybe its because it doesn't get or want to accept me
Because people don't want songs about reality
They want songs about drinking and impurities, so if you hear please listen closely
Because these may be the words that can change a nation
Because I don't want to lead people in white coats and hats
But with the power of a microphone, the faith of guitar
and we'll leave it at that
Don't sit here and tell me the war is for peace
When really all we care about is where we want to eat
All the love is fading away
It got replaced by all the hate and discriminating against your brothers race
You people really don't care anymore
About the young souls whose lives are at waste in a war
For a country who all they want to do is try and control
Instead of spreading love
What will it take?
Maybe the fact the our children's futures are at stake?
and that they will eventually feel like mistakes
and the difference between us and them is that we could have prevented this.
Just for once think about this please
About if you really want war or if you really want peace
and if you want peace don't just wear it because its cool
Wear it because its you and its a lifestyle you choose
Bye for now and keep the faith
And try to end this terrible mistake.
