What My Uncle Did For Me
About 6 months ago my uncle died. He died of a stroke. I remember the last thing we did together was go to a New York Giants game. On the way there he kept talking about how important it is to be a good student. I have always been a good student and he kept using me as an example. These last hours with him were revealing. Looking back on it, at the moment, I didn't take much of what he said seriously. Now I realize how true and important those words were. You need to get a good education to succeed at just about anything in life. My uncle was a huge influence in my life. I wish he were still here today.
