It is What it is; Life Motto Explained
A wise man with a crooked smile and a beat up baseball cap once gave me some of the best advice I could ever need. "It is what it is. Make the best out of it."
It took me awhile to fully understand what he meant, I just thought he was just some crazy old man. Spitting out words no one was gonna listen too. But after a while of thinking, I understood what he meant.
Those words from that crooked smile has became a motto for me. I use it for those times when the situation is no longer in my hands, I use it for when there is nothing more I can do. Those few words are like a silver lining on a dark cloud. That dark cloud can be anything unexpected that life throws at you. Weather it be a heart-shattering death, or a life changing storm. That silver lining is going to come through.
"It is what it is. Make the best of it." or, Just because life is hard, doesn't mean you cant be happy.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you interpenetrate it. What matters is how much better your life can be, just because you make the best of what you have. Just because you have a happy outlook on this roller coaster we call life.
