The Kid on the Bus MAG
He was just a kid
Like the rest of us
But they liked to trip him
When he got on the bus.
He tried to sit down,
He just needed a seat,
But he was still standing
When the bus left the street.
He’d have gum in his hair
And notes on his back.
His lunch would get stepped on,
Books dumped from his pack.
He didn’t deserve it,
That kid on the bus.
He wasn’t any different
From any of us.
