My Name (Joey Angeli)
The name that is used around the world and can be heard in every culture. the pure essence of giving. Built like an impenetrable fortress. strong and bold. A name so strong it was given to the legal father of Jesus, the king of kings.
With the name comes with unrelenting persistence and the unwillingness to give up. The strength a climber gets when reaching the summit of a mountain. A name so sought after nearly 2,500,000 share this name.
When my parents first found out they were pregnant they thought it was going to be a girl. My mom said even in her dreams I ended up being a girl. They started coming up with girl names. Kaitlyn after my mom's mom. To their surprise I was a boy.
As time was ticking down to the birth of their son they were stressed. they had spent all of this time thinking of names for a girl. They started looking for family members and really close friends. They didn't want to do what everyone else did by just using a book or simply choosing a name they liked.
My dad wanted to name me after his dad as a name sake, because he believed in naming me after one of the most influential people in his life. They also wanted to incorporate a saint's name into mine and the rest is history.
My name goes back to Hungary and Germany. which is where my grandparents are first generation immigrants from. They fought for a better life. to carry on the family name. My grandpa was the last one to be able to carry on the name.
