Making A Difference With A Smile

Making a difference lets life be a little nicer. Over the short Summer, I was always busy hanging out with my friends and wasn’t at home as much. My brother, Chase, spent a lot of his summer playing baseball. Since I don’t have that much time to go to his games because of the other plans I made, I never got to go to many of them. Baseball is very important to my brother because it’s one of his favorite sports and he practices a lot for it. I texted my friends and asked them if they wanted to go to his game before any of our other plans later in the day and they agreed to go. My friends upstairs are trying to find a sign to use so that we can decorate it and take it to my brother's game. We found two signs and me and my friends are decorating them with his baseball team's colors and writing his name on them for support. We took the signs in the car and drove to the game to surprise my family and brother and I walked up to my brother to give him candy as well. I thought this was a nice idea because I never really have time to go to his games so I wanted to put in a little effort. He ended up winning his baseball game and it started raining so the signs got wet and smudged. My brother came up to me and said thank you for showing up and making him push harder in his game to win. After the game, it felt nice making somebody smile because of one of my actions.
