Poison
The year is in the past, as are you. You seemed perfect, when you were actually afraid. I fell fast, too fast for such a lie. I made myself believe what you said, and regret it later. I hate everything about you now, everything you said, all the lies you told me, and even the thought of your name makes me angry. Why did you lie, why couldn’t you just tell me the truth? So, thanks to you I must now tell my hate for you. I may wish you never exist, but I can’t just kill what is not there. I wish we never met, so I wouldn’t have to say I fell into a tangled web of lies. I rip these words of dishonesty, and forget you said you loved me. For you all I see is blood filled with poison begging for that chance to seduce another one, and just maybe camouflage another lie or two. You laugh and forget me, but I will never forget you.
