Summary:

Joseph Palivox was a normal kid until his parents died. Now, he lives with his uncle in what he believes to be the worst apartment in existence (maybe he's right!). When he was 11 he went swimming in a lake and would have drowned were it not for Warren, a mysterious god missing half his face rescuing him. Now, 3 years later Warren found him again at his school and told him many things, from why half his town has gone missing over the past year due to a mysterious man and his army of beasts to another plane of existence between life and death. Joseph thinks he can end it with his new power, and Warren is willing to let him try. Is it too much for Joseph, or can he be the hero after all?
