I Think I'll Take a Walk
Summary:
Just a couple months ago, Harper's parents overdosed on opioid painkillers. Together, at the same time, in the same car. Now Harper's starting high school, and she has to face everything she only wants to run away from: her best friend who abandoned her, odd teachers, and the feeling that she doesn't have a home to return to.
What Harper is hiding is that how she lives is highly dominated by flashbacks, whether they be before or at the time of her parents' death. She's living a life in the past, and she can't free herself from the impossibility of her own memory. Or can she?
