Summary:

Yvette has a disease that has landed her terminally in the hospital. Her parents, Amanda and Norman, do not want her to be under any kind of threat from the outside world. This means keeping the hospital window closed no matter how much Yvette wants to see it opened. A kind nurse, Kelsie, makes an effort to understand her.
