Author's note: This was really just an idea that popped into my head. I wanted to write something different than what I've written before.

“Auden!” I heard someone calling my name and I turned and looked behind me. Turns out someone were calling my name and it was none other than Kellin O’Donnell. I watched him run towards me. His hair flopped against his forehead as he ran and the sun was shining on him, in a way that almost made him look god-like. “Auden.” He said stopping in front of me.

“Kellin,” I replied back sarcastically. He smirked in the slightest way and looked up at the sky. That gave me my chance to step a little closer. When he looked back down at me our noses were practically touching we were so close.

“Auden, I uhh,” he looked down at my lips, and licked his making my eyes flick down to his mouth but I looked away quickly. When I looked back at him, he grabbed my face and pressed his lips to mine. His lips were warm, and moist. He held my face like, I was made out of glass and could crumble in his hands in seconds…but that’s just how I felt; like I could just crumble into a million pieces and slip right through his fingers. His kiss was so full of passion and tenderness that I couldn’t help but reach up and tangle my fingers in his hair and kiss him back just as hard. I felt him nip at my bottom lip but I denied him the access he wanted. I was going to play hard to get. He slid his hands slowly down my body before he cupped my butt making me let out a soft moan and he took the chance with a vengeance and started doing a sensual dance with my tongue. He turned and pushed me against a tree and was kissing harder and deeper than I’d ever been kissed before. He just wouldn’t stop. All I could hear were our harsh breaths in the quiet of the clearing.

I suddenly jerked awake and looked around. I was in my best friend Ryan’s room and her limbs were sprawled out across my back and she was snoring softly. I pushed my head into the pillow letting out a soft groan. It was only a freaking dream. It was only a dream. It was only a-oh what am I kidding. I wish it was MORE than just a dream. I wish it would just happen for real! My phone buzzed on the night stand where it was charging and I looked at it, Kellin, and he was asking me to come outside. I got up without waking Ryan, go figure woman sleeps like a freaking bear during hibernation. I looked at myself quickly in the mirror. I must not of tossed and turned much last night because my hair still looked like it did yesterday I just needed to comb my fingers through it, and my make-up looked okay I just needed to fix it up a bit. I grabbed my iPhone off the table and texted him ‘be out in a min’ before slipping on my toms and padding down the hallway.

“Hey girl!” he smiled when I stepped outside and quietly shut the door behind me. I looked at him and my eyebrows scrunched together. “Let’s go!” He came up the couple steps and grabbed my hand pulling me towards the road.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked. He looked down at me and let go of my hand. I frowned internally because now my arm felt cold, which is strange because it’s at least eighty degrees outside and it’s only noon. He had a smirk on his face as we continued to walk.

“It’s a surprise, darling,” he said in a fake British accent. I huffed making him smirk again and we were silent. All I could really hear was the crunch of the rocks underneath our feet. As we walked, scenes from last night’s dream kept flying through my head. I moved away a bit so I couldn’t feel his fingers brush against my bare thigh as we walked. I looked over at him and bit my lip but he didn’t notice. The sun was hitting him perfectly just like my dream. He had his Ray Bans on so I couldn’t see his eyes but everything else was perfect. His usually dark brown hair looked lighter against the sun’s rays and some of his tattoos glistened. He was wearing the same black 00 gauges in his ears like always. He looked…hot. I shook my head to make all thoughts of Kellin fall out of my mind. I mean seriously, I grew up with this kid and I know pretty much everything about him. He’s one of my best friends. I can’t think he’s hot!
“We’re here.” Kellin said snapping me out of my inner debate. We were at the beach and it was completely empty, well this was the side people didn’t normally go on. “I figured since it’s so nice out you’d want to go for a swim.” I smiled and nodded.

“Yeah, I would.” He smiled and set his bag that I didn’t notice he was carrying on the sand and pulled his shirt over his head. I watched him and boy did I enjoy it. He was muscular…like perfectly sculpted. His six pack glistened with sweat and he had broad shoulders and the V lines on his waist. His chest has multiple tattoos across it and a couple at the bottom and I wouldn’t mind licking each and every one of them. Wait! What! NO! Just…I need to get into the water to clear my brain.

“Enjoying the show?” he asked and winked at me. Before I could say anything he started walking towards the water. Even his back was perfect. His muscles clenched with every step he took. “You coming in or what?”

“I-I don’t have a bathing suit,” I stuttered. God, he’s going to know that he has some type of effect on me right now.

“Just strip a layer; it’s just me and you here.” I shrugged my shoulders and started unbuttoning the shirt I’m wearing. I looked down at myself and felt kind of good. I mean, I kept my body healthy. I go to the gym, I eat good food sometimes, and honestly God blessed me with a pretty nice body. My boobs weren’t too small or too big, I had a flat stomach, I had those cute little back dimples, and I had long legs. So I’d say I looked pretty good. Without looking up I could just feel Kellin watching my every move. My long hair draped over my face so I knew he couldn’t see my smirk. I was going to give him a show like he may have wanted. I turned around and my belly button dangled as I slowly slid my shorts down my legs. I was wearing what I usually wore for undergarments. Today I was wearing a light blue set. My bra was strapless and I was wearing a thong…but I didn’t really expect to go swimming in this stuff. When I turned around Kellin was waist deep in the water and his mouth was hanging wide open.

“What?” I asked, but I knew I had got him just the way I wanted to. I stepped into the water and it was cold even though the sun was shining down on it. Kellin quickly shut his mouth. The water was chilling against all my bare skin and I felt the goose bumps rise over my body.

“N-nothing, nothing,” he said shaking his head. I jumped with happiness in my head but didn’t give away my mood.
“So anyways,” he looked around nervously and when he wasn’t looking towards me I pushed his shoulders down and dunked him under water. What I didn’t expect was for him to grab my waist and pull me under with him. I could hear his laughter under water but I pulled away from him and pushed towards the surface. When he popped his head above the surface he laughed again.
“Jerk,” I laughed pushing his shoulder playfully; He splashed me which turned into us having a splash war.

“Favorite color?” he asked as we walked down the street. I heard the sand crunching under our feet. The sun was shining high in the sky now and it was humid. All I had on was the soaked bra I wore swimming and my shorts.

“Orange,” I said looking up at him. He smiled down at me but I couldn’t quite guess his emotions. We stopped outside of Ryan’s house. “I’m just gonna grab my stuff and go home. You don’t have to wait.”

“No, it’s fine, I want to,” he smiled making me bite my lip. I nodded before running up to Ryan’s room and grabbing all my things. I looked around making sure I didn’t forget anything. No one was home, not even Ryan. “Ready?” I nodded my head and we started walking towards my house.

“Favorite past time?” I asked after a few minutes. He looked down at me with a smirk.

“I think we all know what that is,” he winked. I rolled my eyes and he bumped my shoulders with his, but I couldn’t help but notice the electrical shocks running through my body as his skin made contact with mine.

Ryan and I were lounging by her pool, soaking up the rays. It had been two days since the last time I talked to Kellin and our day was basically forgotten. He hadn’t even texted me.

“So there’s a party tonight, at the clearing. Do you want to go?” Ryan asked. I looked over at her and she was laying on her stomach, peering over at me.

“Whose party is it?” I asked. She thought for a minute before answering.

“I’m pretty sure it’s Sydney’s party, for her birthday or something. She invited everyone.” I sighed at hearing Sydney’s name. She was my brother’s evil girlfriend and we hated each other.

“Yeah, I guess so,” I sighed. I sat up on the chair and took my glasses off. “I better get going so I can get ready then, and I need to talk to Jack.” She nodded and I exited her back yard and walked down the street to my house.

“Jack! Are you home?” I called once I stepped into my house.

“I’m in here Aud,” he yelled back. Of course he was in the kitchen. “Hey.” He smiled at me when I walked into the kitchen. Jack was my twin brother, nothing like me though. At school, Jack was known as Jack “the Matrix” Collins. He excelled in most sports, he was fast, and he was big. Jack was probably around six foot five, a couple inches taller than our father, he was broad shouldered, he had brown hair that he kept short, and caramel colored eyes like some of us in the family. “You going to Sid’s party tonight?”

“I was thinking about it, yeah,” I said leaning against the counter. Jack was making himself something to eat, as usual. “As long as she doesn’t talk to me or start any drama then I think we will get along smoothly.” He looked up at me through his long lashes.

“I don’t understand why you two have such a rivalry with each other. Like what did you do, steal her cookies in kindergarten?” I laughed at the irony of that sentence because yes, I actually did do that, but that wasn’t the reason we hated each other.

“Honestly I have no clue,” I said truthfully. And it was the truth. I had no clue why we hated each other so much. She didn’t like me and I had no interest to become friends with her because I thought she was one of the most stuck up people I know. My phone dinged in my pocket and I pulled it out to check the text.

KELLIN: You comin tonight?

I bit my lip when I saw his name on my phone. I looked up at my brother and his eyebrows were raised but he shook his head with a grin spreading across his face.

“I’m not even gonna ask,” he said. He put his fingers to his forehead saluting me and walked with his sandwich to his room which was in the basement. I rolled my eyes at my brother but I still loved him. My phone dinged once again and I looked at it. Kellin again.

KELLIN: See ya tonight then ;)

I didn’t respond to that, I just made my way up to my room to find what I was going to wear to the party tonight. Hopefully it will be drama free and just a good time. The Clearing was on the outside of town, so no adults would see us or hear us. Most parties get pretty wild when we go to The Clearing, mostly because we know we can’t be seen or heard. I looked through my drawers and closet and found exactly what I wanted to wear. I was going to wear a bright colored bikini that had a tribal print style to it, a white see-through button up shirt, and a pair of short blue and pink shorts. I was just going to wear a pair of flip flops because I’d take them off anyways. A knock on my door made me turn around and my brother slowly pushed my door open with his eyes covered.

“You dressed?” he asked. I laughed quietly.

“Yes,” I covered my mouth the hide my laugh and he slowly pulled his hand away from his eyes and pushed his bandana up on his head.

“You driving or do you want to ride with me?” he asked. I told him that I’d ride with him because I’d probably end up riding home with Ryan and Charlotte. Charlotte doesn’t like to drink but she still comes to these parties. When Jack left my room, I walked into my bathroom to shower and wash all the tanning oil off my body. After that all I had to do was do my hair and get dressed and I’d be ready.

“Nice to see you made it,” Kellin said when he caught me at the cooler. “I was beginning you to think you weren’t coming.” He was standing really close to me when he was talking and I could feel his warm breath on my neck. “How about a dance, Auden? Do you want to dance with me?” He put his hand on my waist making my shirt ride up and he started rubbing circles with his thumb on my waist. I took in a sharp intake of breath but he didn’t notice the effect he had on me right now. I turned around so now his hand was on my back and looked at him. He looked as great as ever. His eyes were dark and he was biting his lip. He hadn’t shaved recently so he had a bit of facial hair, and the blue bro tank he was wearing looked perfect on him and was showing off some of his tattoos.

“Let’s dance,” I smirked up at him and brought him closer to the center of the clearing. I was still facing him when he grabbed my hips and started grinding against me. I will admit that Kellin was a good dancer. He was towering over me staring right into my eyes as he rolled my hips into him. I bit my lip and looked away from him. I could feel my face was flushed and I knew he knew what he was doing to me.

“Why you wearing this shirt, girl? All the others are just wearing bikinis,” he whispered in my ear as he unbuttoned the bottom two buttons of my shirt. I licked my lips and tore his hands away from the bottom of my shirt and put them around my back instead making him bunch my shirt in his fist.

“Well, maybe I have just a bit more class than most of the girls here,” I smirked making him laugh lightly.

“You’re probably right, Aud. You are also far more beautiful than the girls here.” I looked up at him to see if he was serious, but once again he had glasses on so I couldn’t read what his emotions were. My breath caught in my throat and he leaned into me. He started trailing feathery kisses along my neck making me breath slightly heavier. We had stopped dancing now and my fingers were tangled in his soft hair. His kisses got closer and closer to my mouth and before I knew it we were kissing just like in my dream but it was different. His hands were resting on my ass but he grabbed it so I was pressed into him. He didn’t act like I was fragile, like he did in my dream, no this was rough. I could feel the little pricklies on his face scraping against my chin, but surprisingly, I liked it. It was soft instead of scraping my face. He nipped on my bottom lip and I instantly granted him that access. His tongue was doing the same sensual dance it was in my dream and I let out an involuntary moan. All too soon though it was over and he pulled away. Our breathing was erratic and his forehead was leaning against mine. Slowly, I unthreaded my fingers from his hair.

“Meet me in the woods in an hour,” he said and then he pulled away. All I could do was watch how the muscles clenched in his back as he walked. I just made out with Kellin O’Donnell…All I could do was stand there frozen. I touched my lips which were still tingling and no doubt red and swollen.

“Hey girl,” Ryan said smiling. She held a beer can out to me and I took it. “Hey, you alright?” I nodded and popped open my beer and chugged it.

“Let’s dance,” I said. My best friend grabbed my hand and brought me into the bigger group of people. I looked around for Kellin as I danced but I couldn’t find him anywhere.

An hour and three more beers later I was ready to go find Kellin. I had already told my brother that I was going to throw my shirt in his car because I knew Kellin seemed to want it off earlier. I walked in the woods a little. I knew this is where people usually came to make out or hook up. I looked around and heard noises coming from somewhere near so I followed them…biggest mistake ever!

“Kellin!” A girl moaned as he moved his hands up and down her body and sucked on her neck. I felt the anger rising in me, or was that hurt? I wanted to cry but I knew I shouldn’t. Kellin wasn’t worth my tears. “Kellin!” She moaned again. I couldn’t see any more of this so I walked away.

“Auden!” I heard someone yell my name. I looked around and saw a boy approaching me but I couldn’t tell in the dark who it was. “Hey, I’ve been looking for you all night.” I looked up to see Finley, one of my good friends from high school. He was definitely attractive, he was tall, he had blonde hair that always looked like he just rolled out of bed, but in a sexy way, beautiful green eyes, and he was toned.

“Finley!” I smiled. He looked down at me with a big smiled on his face. “You want to dance?” He nodded and I grabbed his hand. “I’d love to.” He let me pull him along to the center of the clearing and I circled my arms around his neck when he put his arm around my waist.

“I’m surprised no one’s snatched you up yet,” he whispered in my ear. I bit my lips. I was going to pour myself into Finley and forget about Kellin.

“Same goes to you,” I said back. He pulled me closer now so I could feel every inch of him. Without really thinking about what I was doing, I pulled Finley’s head down to me and kissed him hard. It was definitely good but not as good as what I was feeling before. Finley just wasn’t Kellin…

I woke up and looked around. This wasn’t my room…or Ryan’s room. It was a boy’s room. I felt weight on my stomach and I looked down at the arm that was tangled around me. I turned a bit but not before wincing from the slight pain I felt between my legs. I looked over at the sleeping Finley beside me. Man, he was even hot asleep. I pulled the sheets up a bit to see I was wearing the shirt Finley wore last night and he was wearing nothing at all. I will admit, that wasn’t a sight I minded seeing, but that’s not the point right now. I watched him for a second when he was sleeping but soon his eyes fluttered open.

“Hey,” he said in a sleepy voice. I smiled and was actually surprised I wasn’t feeling guilty. I mean, I remember last night and it was far from bad. “I’m surprised you’re still here.” I cocked my head to the side.

“You expected me to just leave?” I asked confused. He shrugged, with a slight smirk on his face.

“Well, I’ve never exactly had a girl stay the night before,” he said as he laid over me. I could feel him pressing against me and wow, last night was so fun. “You’re the first Aud.” I looked into those beautiful green eyes of his and I felt him running his hand up the bottom of my thigh. He was close to me now, and I could feel his breath hitting my face.

“Finley,” I said but it came out more as a moan as his fingers got to the top of my thighs. He smirked and then kissed me hard. He felt really good right now and I couldn’t help but run my nails down his back, making him press into me so we were closer together. And that’s how I spent my morning…fooling around with the handsome, Finley Emerson.

“We should hang out again sometime,” Finley smiled as I stood on his steps. I bit my lips and nodded.

“Yeah, I’d like that.” He smiled and leaned down planting a sweet soft lingering kiss on my lips before pulling away.

“Bye Aud,” he said. I waved and walked down his steps. When I looked back he was still standing there and I playfully blew him a kiss before flipping my hair and walking down the street.

I think I was handling this whole Kellin situation quite nicely. He has tried to text me to hang out, but I usually just said that I was busy or just didn’t respond to him at all. The incident in the woods actually hurt me more than I thought it would, but I also think that I should act like nothing ever happened. I’ve also been hanging out with Finley more and I’ve learned things about him, that I never knew before. Maybe seeing Kellin with the other girl is good for me…maybe.

“So what do you want to do today?” Finley asked. We were lying on his bed and he was tracing circles on my waist. I looked at him and shrugged.

“We could go get ice cream?” I said in a questioning voice. He nodded and I rolled over so I was on top of him. He put his hands on my hips and I smirked slightly. I leaned close to his lips and he looked down just like I wanted him to. “I’ll drive.” I smiled and climbed off of him. He groaned as I slipped on my shoes. “C’mon lazy, get up, I thought you wanted to do something today?” He smiled and got up to slip his shoes and a shirt on.

Finley held my hand while we stood in line for ice cream. The shop was filled as was Main Street, as always. I looked down at our hands and he was absentmindedly tracing small circles on my hand with his thumb. I bit my lips to hide the goofy smile that was begging to show itself. After this week, I was really kind of starting to like Finley. He was sweet and fun and he made me forget out Kellin. He made me feel better about everything really.

“What?” he said quietly. He was looking down at me, amused, making a blush rise to my cheeks. I turned, so I was facing him and I wrapped my arms around his waist. He was a little taller than me and could rest his head on top of mine.

“I like you,” I said into his neck after placing a soft kiss on it. I felt him smile and he put his hands on both sides of my face so he was cradling my head.

“Yeah, well I like you too,” he said, as he placed the softest, gentlest kiss on my lips. He kissed me, like I was some valuable piece of artifact that was worth millions. I smiled into the kiss and kissed him back in the middle of the ice cream parlor. I heard an ‘awe’ next to us that made me pull away from him. I looked over and two old women were sitting at a table staring at us.

“Isn’t young love just amazing, Loretta?” One of them said tapping her hand on the other ladies arm.

“Oh yes, I remember when Arthur and I got married. We were young but so in love.” I blushed and hid my face in the crook of Finley’s neck. He chuckled making my head bounce against his shoulder.

“Let’s get our ice cream huh, love?” he smirked. I playfully hit him on the shoulder and turned around towards the counter and I think my eyeballs nearly fell out of their sockets. Kellin was standing behind the counter scooping ice cream for a little girl and older sister. I watched as Kellin handed them their ice cream and winked at the girl making her blush as she walked away. When he looked up at me he was as frozen as I was. Finley pulled on my waist making me scoot forward. But I didn’t really want ice cream anymore. I looked Kellin over, I just couldn’t help it. He was wearing a purple and black bandana that pushed his hair back out of his face and a tank top that showed off all of his arm tattoos and I couldn’t help but look over every single one. Finley bumped me and I looked at him. He already had his ice cream. I looked at Kellin next and he was wearing one of his famous smirks on his face. I rolled my eyes.

“What would you like miss?” he asked in a sarcastic tone but he already knew what I wanted because he was already going for it. He knew I didn’t like the cone and already had a medium sized bowl in his hand, and he knew I wanted sherbert ice cream but was looking at me.

“Orange sherbert,” I said, crossing my arms over my chest. He glanced down and I knew he was checking me out, so I dropped my hands and wrapped them around Finley’s waist instead. His eyes flickered over to us and I could have sworn I saw a flash of anger cross his face, but it was gone quicker then it came. He handed me my dish and I pushed a half smile on my face.

“Four-fifty,” Kellin said pushing buttons on the register. Finley handed over the money and pulled me towards a table. I could feel Kellin’s eyes on my back the whole time.

“We should go to the beach and sit,” I said quickly. Finley bit his lip and looked outside. I didn’t even want to go to the beach, it’s too damn hot outside and nice and cool in here, but I didn’t want to sit under Kellin’s cold stare, while I’m enjoying ice cream with my friend – maybe boyfriend or friend with benefits…I don’t know.

“It’s really hot outside, babe,” he said with a slight frown. “Don’t you want to stay inside to eat your ice cream where it’s cool?” I sighed internally and sat in a booth waiting for Finley to slide in next to me.

“You’re right,” I smiled at him. He smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulders before he started licking his ice cream. I looked at him with a smirk and he looked back at me.

“What?” he said with a bit of ice cream in his mouth.

“Oh, you got ice cream on your face, let me get it.” He smiled and I pulled his mouth to mine and kissed him but not like he kissed me. He instantly nipped on my bottom lip and I granted him the access he wanted. His breath was cold and it surprisingly felt good, but a good feeling never lasts forever. We were interrupted by a low throat clearing. I looked up and of course Kellin was standing by our table looking down on us.

“Auden, can we talk for a sec?” I narrowed my eyes at him. Was he being serious right now?

“Excuse me, but I’m kind of out with someone right now,” I said back to him. No humor was on his face, just anger.

“It’ll only take a sec,” he said. I looked at Finley and he just shrugged. I sighed loudly and climbed over Finley but not before sliding on his lap and giving him a quick kiss.

“I’ll be right back okay?” he nodded and gave me another kiss before I followed Kellin towards the back of the shop. When we stopped I leaned against the wall and crossed my arms. “What do you want Kellin?” I said, in an obvious annoyed tone. He looked up at me with narrowed eyes.

“What the hell is that?” he asked in an angry tone gesturing toward the front of the shop. I cocked my head.

“What’s what?” He rolled his eyes.

“Don’t play stupid Auden, you know exactly what I’m talking about. You and that guy out there.” I was shocked. Was he jealous? And why would he be pissed off about my new-found relationship with Finley?

“That guy has a name,” I shot back.

“I don’t care what his damn name is Auden, why are you with him?” I stood up from the wall.

“Because I can be, Kellin. Who are you to judge who I’m with?” I poked him in the chest as I said this. His face softened a bit.

“Why didn’t you meet me last weekend at the party,” he asked in a softer tone. I stepped back from him. So this is what this is about.

“I did meet you, but you were too busy sucking on another girl’s skin to even realize I was there.” I backed away from him, towards the door and he looked shocked at my words. “I’m not going to play these games with you Kellin. I have a great guy out there who actually wants to be with me, so that’s what I’m going to do.” And that’s how I left Kellin, standing in the middle of a cold freezer staring at me. I shook my head trying to make all the anger disappear. When I came back out I saw Finley waiting for me, patiently and I smiled.

“Hey, you ready to go?” I asked tapping his shoulder. He looked up at me smiling and nodded.

“You still want it?” he asked holding my ice cream. Right as I took the ice cream Kellin came out of the back room. He caught my eye and we just stood there for a moment but I was already done.

“No,” and I slammed the ice cream on the top making it splatter against the table and I walked out of the ice cream shop, whether Finley was following me or not. When I got to my car I slammed the door making it creak.

“Hey,” Finley called to me. I looked at him through my windshield and he looked confused. He raised his head in question, but I just shook my head. When I looked back up at him his face had softened and he was walking across the street to my car. “Baby, are you okay?” I nodded my head not looking at him. I felt him sigh and he grabbed my chin so I looked at him. “How about I drive okay?” I nodded and stepped out. Before I could walk around to the other side though, Finley grabbed my wrist and pulled my in for a hug. I wanted to cry but I just couldn’t. I know I’m stronger than this. “C’mon.”

****

“Where are you taking me?” I laughed.

“I told you that it’s a surprise and I don’t think it would be a very good surprise if you knew what it was,” he said with amusement. I looked over at him and he had a huge smirk across his face. I punched his shoulder making him jump. “What the hell?” he laughed.

“Wipe that smirk off your face,” I smiled. He made it a big deal by faking a frowny face but that only made me laugh harder. “God, what am I going to do with you?” He looked over at me with another smirk and I rolled my eyes. Perv. I could hear the ocean beside us and it looked amazing with the sunset, so beautiful. The amusement park on the pier starting coming into sight and I started getting excited.

“I think we are almost there,” Finley laughed. Soon we were parked outside and I was practically jumping around like a kid. He grabs my hand and pulls me towards the park. “What do you want to do first?”

“Let’s play a game,” I say with a huge smile, that I can’t seem to keep under control. He takes me to one of those games, where you have to knock down the bottles to win the prize. Well, of course I didn’t win because I have terrible aim, but mister baseball player over here.

“Pick a big prize kid,” the guy running the stand said. Finley looked over at me and smiled. I bit my lip and looked over the many prizes. One that caught my eye was a huge purple piglet. It was so adorable and that’s the one I wanted.

“The purple piglet,” I said blushing. Finley wrapped his arm around my waist as the guy handed the pig over. “Thank you.” I said turning in Finley’s arms. Even with the pig in my hand I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He held me close to him as I kissed him.

“Let’s go ride the rides,” he said, dragging me towards a roller coaster.

“Let’s take pictures in the booth!” I said pulling him towards a photo booth. We heard laughing from inside the booth so we waited. “Let’s take two so we can both have one.” Finley smiled down at me and nodded before placing quick pecks on my lips.
“Whatever you want,” he whispers. I smile and intertwine our fingers together. “Hey, I need to ask you something.” Finley said looking down at the ground.

“Yeah, what is it?” I asked moving his face so he was looking at me. He smiled nervously and opened his mouth to talk but no words came out as the people who were in the both came out.

“Oh my god, Kellin, these pictures are so tacky,” a girl I recognized as Gemma from school said to him. I looked at them with pure shock and hurriedly got into the photo booth hoping he hadn’t seen me yet.

“Ey, mate,” Kellin said. I could see Finley through the curtain and he was smiling back at Kellin. “Tell Auden I said hey, alright?”

“Will do,” Finley said before stepping in. He looked at me with a fake smile and I rolled my eyes. “Well let’s take some pictures, yeah?” I smiled instantly and we began taking tacky pictures.

“I want this one,” I said as I took one of the films from Finley’s hand. He smiled and took it back from me.

“I’ll hold onto it, until we go home so you don’t lose it,” he smiled. I smiled back.

“I’m going to run to bathroom I’ll be back.” He nodded and I ran off to find a bath room. When I got there I saw Kellin and Gemma in a heated make out session, her against the wall and I didn’t mind slamming my door shut earning a scream from the whore herself…but I’m not letting them ruin my perfect date.

Finley walked me to my door after he dropped me off and we stood outside for a bit. “So what did you have to ask me earlier?” I asked. He gulped and looked at the ground again. He pulled out his wallet to retrieve the pictures we took.

“Read the message on the back,” he said after clearing his throat. I looked at him confused the turned the picture around. In black scrawly, sharpie writing was a five word question. “Will you be my girlfriend?” I looked up at him, with a huge smile and I knew I was blushing like crazy.

“Yes, I’ll be your girlfriend,” I said and I kissed him softly but full with passion.

“This is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen,” Ryan said, looking at the strip of pictures Finley and I took at the amusement park. I bit my lip when she turned it over to see the black ink that read ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’

“Yeah, I know,” I blushed.

“When did he ask you out?” Charlotte asked leaning over to look at the pictures.

“He asked me out last night, when he took me to the amusement park in Santa Monica,” I smiled. She looked up at me and smiled, then looked back at the pictures. Suddenly, a faint beep echoed around the room and Charlotte dug around in her purse for her phone. After looking at it she sighed.

“I have to go guys, Jaiden is back in town and I’m supposed to meet her at her house.” Jaiden Sosa is back in town. Hah, this summer just got a bit more fun. Wherever Jaiden was, it was always a party. “Expect a party tonight, girls.” Charlotte waved over her shoulder at us and left my room.

“Jaiden throws the craziest parties,” Ryan said looking up at me. “Has Finley been to one yet?” I thought for a second, and then shook my head. Finley was relatively new here and Jaiden has been gone for about a year so no.

“Nope,” I look up at her with a smirk. “But there’s a first for everything right?”

“Oh my god! I’m glad you guys could make it!” Jaiden said as we walked up to the steps of her huge house. “And who’s this hottie?” She looked Finley up and down and I pulled him closer to me, as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders, before sticking his hand out to Jaiden.

“Finley,” he said. She smiled and I looked up at him. He didn’t look fazed by her at all.

“Pleasures all mine, Finley,” she smiled again. He dropped her hand and Jaiden looked at me again. “So where’s Kellin?” I bit my lip and shrugged.

“I’m sure he’ll be around,” I said then pushed past her. She told us where some things were, but I wasn’t paying any attention to her. I wanted to get as drunk and high as I could and forget everything, because that’s what these parties were for. They were so you could have fun and forget all of your worries, and that’s exactly what I planned to do.

“You want another hit?” Kellin said. Kellin, Ryan, Sebastian, and I were all sitting on a couch in this room smoking together.

“Of course,” I said taking the joint and taking a long deep hit of it. I felt the burning sensation deep in my lungs. After a few more seconds, I exhaled slowly, making all the smoke float around my head and I felt my head spin a bit. I looked over at Ryan and Sebastian, but they were in a heated make out session, with him practically on top of her, in a position that didn’t look comfortable at all.

“We could do that,” Kellin said, with a sloppy smirk. I looked over at him and narrowed my eyes. He still smirked, leaning closer to me.

“Don’t you know that I have a boyfriend now?” I asked, not like he’d care. When Kellin wants something, he usually gets it.
“Yeah, I did,” he said before taking a long hit. He leaned in close to me and started blowing it in my face which made my lips part, making the smoke fill my mouth. I don’t know what was running through that jumbled mind of his, but I guess to him that meant, lean in and kiss me. After a couple seconds, I pushed him away, even though just the slight touch of his lips on mine made the butterflies in my stomach go into frenzy.
“Don’t fight it” He pulled my knees apart and scooted between them so my back was pressed against the arm of the couch and kissed me again. This time, I reached up and tangled my fingers in his hair. I felt him sit the joint in the ashtray on the table next to me, then he grabbed my hips and pulled me on his lap. He reached up cupping my face and kissed me harder. I pulled away when it started to feel too good.

“This is wrong,” I said, resting my forehead against his. “I can’t do this.” I climb off of him and stumbled towards the door. I looked back at him before leaving and his fist were clenched on his knees.

“Just go to your boyfriend, Auden,” he said, in a cold voice. I couldn’t move, I just stood there. “I said go!” He yelled, making me jump and I closed the door and made my way down the stairs. When I got to the bottom, I heard the door open and he came out, but he went the other way down the hall. I went towards the kitchen and found Finley there but he wasn’t alone, Jaiden was talking to him. He looked bored and was just nodding his head at things she was saying. She touched his chest and stood in front of him and he raised his hands above his head. He said something to her and she shrugged and said something back. He rolled his eyes and pushed her aside, leaving her standing there with her mouth hanging open. He almost completely walked past me before I grabbed his arm.

“Hey,” I smiled. Finley looked so good tonight, I couldn’t believe I wasted any of my night with Kellin. His lips turned up a bit on the side.

“Hey, where have you been?” My mind instantly shot to Kellin and I on the couch just minutes ago, but I pushed the thought aside.

“I was with Ryan,” I said and pulled him closer to me. “Come upstairs with me.” He smirked down at me and pushed me against the stairs.

“And what would we do up there?” he asked, as he leaned down and placed small kissed along my neck.

“You’ll see,” I said pulling him by his shirt, then grabbing his hand and pulling him up the stairs. After a long search, we found an empty room and locked the door.

“You’re beautiful,” he said pulling my shirt over my head. He kissed me hard on the lips then lifted me so my legs wrapped around his waist than set us softly on the bed. I pulled his shirt off his head and run my hand down his chest. He lowered onto me, so I couldn’t get away and kissed down my neck. He slowly started pulling my shorts off and I lifted my hips so he could get them over my bottom.

“You sure you’re ready for this?” he smirked. I bit my lip and smiled.

“Ready when you are,” I said, before pulling him down, tangling my fingers in his hair, and kissing him like this would be the last time I’d ever kiss him.

I woke up, again next to Finley. His chest was tense but soft and I rubbed my hand over it making him stir. I felt him pull me closer to him and I smiled. He looked down at me.

“Morning beautiful,” he smiled. I smiled back at him and gave him a quick kiss.

“We should probably get out of here,” I said, in a hushed tone. He nodded and we hopped out of bed making me wince.

“Sore?” he winked. I punched him lightly on the on the shoulder, making him laugh and I shh’d him.

“Be quiet!” I laughed quietly. We hurriedly threw our clothes on and I left my shirt unbuttoned.

“I like this,” he smiled putting his hands on my waist and leaning down and kissing me. I smiled and pulled away after a moment.

“Let’s go,” I said, grabbing his hand. I quietly pulled the door open and looked both ways. The house was completely quiet; you could hear a pin drop. Finley and I started walking down the long hallway and I looked over the rail to see that the house was completely trashed!

“Whoa, watch out girl,” Finley said pulling me back. “Sorry.” I looked up and I was face to chest with one, that was oh so familiar. I looked down and Kellin was smirking down at me.

“Try to watch where you’re going next time, yeah?” He rolled his eyes, before turning around and sauntering down the stairs probably leaving an innocent girl to wake up to nothing.

“Prick,” I said under my breath. Finley looked down at me, but I just rolled my eyes and pulled him down the stairs towards the door. I looked at the living room and there were a lot of people that were passed out, some even only half dressed. “Let’s get out of here.” I didn’t bother with quiet anymore as I threw the door shut behind us.

“So what’s the deal between you and that guy?” Finley asked. We were laying in my bed after our long swim in my pool.

“Who, Kellin?” He nodded and I sighed. I leaned my head on his chest and looked up at him. “Promise you won’t get mad at me?”

“Yeah, what is it?” he frowned. I kissed him quickly and kept my lips close so I could feel him as I talked.

“At the party, when I was upstairs with Ryan, Kellin was there and…he kissed me. I was kind of high, so I didn’t really register in my mind what was happening, until I was on his lap. I pulled away and,” I was cut off by Finley, pressing his lips to mine.

“Stop, I’m not mad at you,” he whispered then kissed me again. I kissed him back. “But I’ll admit I sort of want to kick this guy’s ass for kissin’ my girl.”

“Well, there’s no need for that,” I smiled and pecked his lips once more.

“Well, when I see him don’t expect me to be nice or anything.” I shrugged, because I didn’t expect him to.

“I don’t,” I smiled.

Paris is really nice, you should really go sometime,” Jaiden, said as we all sat in her bedroom. I yawned and stretched out on her king size bed. I was bored with this and I’d rather be out surfing or hanging out with someone. “Oh, and did you guys enjoy the party on Saturday? I hooked up with that really hot guy…umm Kellin.” I instantly shot up and looked at her. She was painting her nails on the floor and just kept talking about him, she didn’t even mind sparing us the dirty details. There was a part of me that wanted to beat the living s*** out of her, but then there was the other part of me, that knew I had a boyfriend who I cared for a lot, so I shouldn’t care who she was with.

“Well hey, I got to run, I’ll see you guys later,” I said, standing up. I couldn’t even bare to hear his name right now. Ryan looked up at me with a frown and I just shook my head before walking out of Jaiden’s room. No one knew about what the events Kellin and I shared besides Ryan. When I got into my car I couldn’t help but hit my hands on my steering wheel a few times. Why? Why did Kellin have to be this amazing asshole of a guy, who was drop dead gorgeous, super sweet, and just over all amazing? I mean, his player ways did down grade him, a bit but that’s what made him Kellin! He wouldn’t be Kellin if he didn’t have the player personality to him. Before I knew it I was driving, driving all over town and to the outskirts. Kellin lived in a small trailer park that was mostly vacant except for a few other families.

“Auden?” he said, as I stepped out of my car. “What are you doing here?” I looked at him. He had grease all over his grey tank top and pair of khaki shorts were covering his long legs. His black hair was tousled, like usual and his sunglasses were sitting on top of his head. I looked everywhere but at him.

“Honestly, I don’t know,” I said, as I kicked a small rock. It bounced off the side of my car making me frown. He walked down the couple of stairs to the ground and wiped his hands on a towel, which he was holding in his hands. I looked up at him and he was looking at me with a confused look on his face.

“Well, obviously there has to be a reason,” he said, going over to his car. I looked over at the car and noticed that one of the tires was missing and his hood was open. He ducked under the hood so I couldn’t see his face anymore and started working on his car again.
“Are you just going to stand there all day?” I looked over at him and he was staring at me. I gulped loudly and I could feel the sun beating down on my face.

“So, I heard you hooked up with Jaiden,” I said, without really thinking about it. He stopped what he was doing and looked over at me. His hair was sticking to his forehead and all I wanted to do was move it.

“Is that why you’re here? To criticize me about some one night stand?” He looked at me with an almost shocked look on his face.

“Like I said I don’t even know why I’m here,” I leaned against the passenger side of his car and his deep brown eyes stared into my light brown ones. “I’m just…confused. You wouldn’t understand.” He shut the hood of his car making me jump and walked over to me.

“I guess, I could try to understand,” he said standing in front of me so my back was against the car. “Honestly, I don’t understand what’s going on between us. We were fine a couple weeks ago and now you don’t return my texts and you act like you hate me.” I looked down at the ground and saw his black converse stepping closer to mine. “You are so important to me, Aud. Stop ignoring me.” Then he kissed me. He tilted my chin up and kissed me. His hand was cupping my head and his other was on my waist. My bare back was burning against the hot metal of his car, but I hardly noticed it, all I noticed were his lips on mine and how good it felt. How good it felt to have him touch me.

“Don’t ever stop, Aud,” he whispered, against my neck before he lifted me so my legs we around his waist and he kissed down my neck. He knew exactly where he could find the sweet spot and went to it, instantly making me let out a satisfying moan. He kept whispering for me to never stop but what did that mean exactly? He carried me to the back of his car where he opened the trunk where pillows and blankets were laying. I didn’t think much of it, I just climbed in. He climbed in after me and pulled me under him so my head hit one of the plush pillows and he kissed me like I was the last girl he would ever get to kiss in his life. It didn’t take much for us to get hot and a bit sweaty, it was hot in this car, but it was another one of those things that I just didn’t really notice.

Kellin kissed down my neck, as he started unbuttoning the shirt I was wearing. He kissed down my stomach at the same time making my back arch up off the floor of the car. When Kellin came back up to my lips, I tore his tank top off over his head. His abs glistened with sweat. He kissed me hard and I ran my hands down his chest to feel his defined torso muscles. I let out a soft moan, when he presses his hips into mine letting me know of his hard member.

“Kellin,” I moaned. I don’t know what it was, but he took that as his cue to strip us of the rest of our clothes and take me the way I wanted him to.

“I should probably get going…” I trailed off not looking at him. He nodded.

“I’ll text you,” he said quietly. I nodded and he started walking back to his house, but before he got even half way he turned around and came back to me. He tilted my chin up and kissed me softly than ran back to his house without another word. The only thing running through my mind at the moment was ‘S***! I just cheated on my boyfriend.’

My phone pinged as I sat on my bed. I set my pencil down and looked at the screen. It was Finley, asking if I wanted to hang out but I ignored his text. I couldn’t talk to him, not today…maybe not even tomorrow. My phone pinged again with a text from Kellin, a simple ‘Hi’. All of this was so screwed up! I like Finley…a lot, but then there’s Kellin. My feelings for Kellin are so confusing that I could barely even figured them out yet, I just know they are strong. I texted Ryan an hour ago, asking her to come over but she was hooking up with Sebastian and wouldn’t be here until later. I leaned my head against the headboard of my bed and sighed loudly. I was the only one here. There was a bonfire on the beach tonight, but I wasn’t really in the mood for a party. I wanted to sit here in my own little depressed bubble. Maybe with some ice cream, some snicker bars, and stop at McDonalds for some chicken nuggets.

The Notebook, two snicker bars, and carton of chocolate chip cookie dough was stuck under my arm as I tried to make it back to my car without dropping anything.

“Whoa, don’t drop that,” a guy behind me said, just as I felt something leaving my arm. Of course, it was the ice cream. I looked back at the guy who was holding my ice cream, to see Finley’s best friend Toby, go figure.

“Thanks,” I said, taking it back. I was hoping he wouldn’t notice me, but it probably didn’t help that I was also wearing Finley’s Pink Floyd shirt, that was at least three sizes too big for me.

“Hey, aren’t you Finley’s girlfriend?” he asked, tapping me on the shoulder. I twirled around so I was facing him.

“Yeah, but I would really appreciate it if you didn’t tell him I was out,” I said in a cold tone. I wasn’t trying to be rude to Toby; I was just ready to get home.

“Um, okay,” he said confused. I walked back to my car and pulled away, not giving Toby a second glance. I just didn’t want to be around people right now because I felt like the scum of the world and I didn’t want to be seen by anyone. I was debating on cancelling on Ryan but I knew she’d come over anyways and I kind of need to talk or else I think I might blow.

By time Ryan walked into my house, I was crying my eyes out. The movie and the situation I was in, didn’t help me at all. She looked at me with a confused look, making me cry harder.

“Oh honey,” she said, coming over to me. She put her arms around me pulling me into her and I cried into her shoulder. This is what I loved about my best friend; she always knew what to do. “Whose ass do I have to kick now?”

“It’s no use Ry,” I said into her shoulder. “It’s Kellin.” She tensed and I knew she was mad to hear that come out of my mouth.

“What did that prick do to you now?” she yelled lightly pushing me away from her. I hugged my knees to my chest and sighed to try and stop my tears.

“I…I slept with Kellin…” I said into my knees.

“You what!” she screamed. “Auden, are you stupid? You are just hurting yourself!” She stood up. “I’m going to kill him!” Before I knew it, she was out the door and pulling out of my driveway before I could catch up with her. Damn, that girl was quick when she was mad.
