Summary:

Elizabeth and Marc have been best friends for years. Marc means the world to Elizabeth. He’s the only one who sees her as she really is. When Elizabeth is around Marc, her shy personality disappears. She can just be herself.
One night after walking home from a school dance, Elizabeth and Marc find themselves in similar situations:


“I felt like someone was watching me,” Marc said with a worried look on his face.

I suddenly stop walking and stare at him, puzzled.

“What?” he asked.
